GCHS achieved a TVAAS growth of Level 5 again for the '22-'23 year! TVAAS measures academic growth using a range 1-5. Level 5 schools are those with significant evidence that students exceeded the state growth standard. Congrats to students, teachers, & staff on a job well done!

Tutoring is now available. It's open to any student needing help with homework, a quiet place to study, time to make up a test, credit recovery, etc. This is in the library, Mondays through Thursdays, 3:15 - 4:30 PM.
Students received forms for laptop insurance at Freshmen Orientation/1st day of school. This is optional, but charges will be received for damages & repairs. The district ID is on the form, & the asset tag is the # on the sticker on the back of laptop. The deadline is 8/26. Copies of the form are available in the library & office if needed. - Email Veronica Minton at mintonv@gcssd.org if you have questions.
